Dr Tracey King

Cosmetic Physician

Dr King specialises in injectable treatments such as Wrinkle Relaxers and Wrinkle Fillers.   She is also available for Aura Laser treatment for facial veins and scarless mole removal.  On a surgical level, Dr King performs liposuction procedures under twilight sedation along with surgical strength Hetter and TCA peels.  Dr King is a trainer for both wrinkle relaxer and wrinkle filler treatment in WA and around the country.  She frequently lectures on these and other cosmetic medical treatments to the public, students of registered training organisations and to doctors.

Dr Robert Goldman

Cosmetic Breast Surgeon, B.Sc (hons), MB.Ch.B, F.R.A.C.S.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science Honours in 1977, Dr Robert Goldman commenced his surgical training at the University of Cape Town, SA in 1978, receiving his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1982.  Dr Goldman received his advanced training in both General and Breast Surgery at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, WA and Royal Perth Hospital, WA.

The area of breast care is very important for all women in today's world.  As well as specialising in Cosmetic Breast Enhancement, Dr Goldman continues to specialise as a surgeon in women's breast health.  Specialising in both these select fields is rare and ensures that Dr Goldman will take care of both your Cosmetic Breast Enhancement aspirations, as well as your overall breast health.

As well as consulting at Academy Facial Plastics & Laser Specialist, Dr Goldman consults regularly from his Practice in McCourt St, Leederville and at Hollywood Private Hospital. He performs regular Cosmetic operating lists at:

Peninsula Private Hospital, Kippa-Ring, Queensland

Current Appointments

R.A.C.S. Supervisor
Dr Goldman is the Royal Australasian College Of Surgeons Supervisor of Surgical Training at both Hollywood Private Hospital and Osborne Park Public Hospital.  This position involves supervising the specialist training of the future generations of West Australian surgeons.

Surgery Teacher
Dr Goldman teaches surgery at both the University Of Western Australia and the University of Notra Dame, providing surgery education to medical students.

Emergency Surgeon
Dr Goldman provides his skills in emergency surgery at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, WA.

Tracy Heywood

Tracy joined Academy Facial Plastics in 2006 as Practice Manager. She has worked in the medical industry for over 15 years including roles as a registered nurse and manager of general and orthodontic practices. Tracy also has over seven years experience in corporate recruitment, is currently completing a Diploma in Business (Human Resources) and is a member of the Australian Association of Practice Managers, Australian Institute of Management and Australian Human Resources Institute.

Linda Sim

Linda is a qualified Dermal Therapist with over 20 years industry experience in beauty, spa and cosmetic/medical clinics. Her experience includes working in pharmacy, beauty clinics, and owning and managing her own Appearance Medicine and Beauty clinic for 12 years.

Linda has many years experience lecturing in Diploma of Beauty Therapy and currently trains Beauty Therapists and Nurses to achieve the Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science (through the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science) so they too can successfully work within the cosmetic medical industry.

Linda specialises in Electrolysis, IPL Hair Removal and Photo Rejuvenation, Chemical Peels, Skin Needling, Microdermabrasion, Pre and Post Surgery Care and can give advice on all aspects of cosmetic procedures non-surgical and surgical, including preventative skin care solutions.
Linda is available part time (Saturday 9am -1pm) due to training commitments and consultations are complimentary.

Tracey Rho

Tracey Rho has a dual role at Academy Facial Plastics, consulting and performing Dermal Therapy treatments for individual client treatment programmes, or as 'Pre and Post Surgery Care" for the clients of Dr. Jayson Oates. Tracey has been involved in the beauty and cosmetic industry since 1999 as a practicing therapist with 'top tier' cosmeceutical and spa resort brand groups.

During the past eight years she has specialised in the education of beauty and spa therapists in skin science, product chemistry and treatment therapies. This has included training for the Sheraton, J.W. Marriott, and Six Senses resorts and hotels, as a principal lecturer in Diploma of Beauty Therapy for a national training organization (Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science), and now as a member of the education group at Academy.

Tracey is available for a complimentary consultation regarding Dermal Therapies, skincare, surgical and non-surgical treatment options. She can also provide treatments in Intense Pulsed Light hair removal and skin rejuvenation, Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion and tattoo removal.

Claire Ross

Claire commenced with Academy as a Dermal Therapist late in 2007 and has a Advanced Diploma in Cosmetic Dermal Science.  She has been active within the cosmetic and beauty industry since 1997 as both a practicing therapist and manager of salons and day spas across Perth.  Claire is both nationally and internationally qualified (ITEC) to perform Pulsed Light Therapies for photo rejuvenation and permanent hair removal.  She is a cosmeceutical specialist and has a special interest in skin rejuvenation and meeting her clients needs.

Claire is available for initial consultations on all dermal therapies, injectibles and surgical and non surgical procedures by appointment.

Fiona Salman

Fiona trained as a registered nurse in England and graduated with a Diploma in Nursing Sciences. She has had several years of experience in the cosmetic industry, working for a private cosmetic hospital in England and has also worked as a recovery nurse for a major teaching hospital. Her nursing role at Academy Facial Plastics includes wound care, pre-operative assessments and post-operative care. Fiona also assists Dr Oates with surgical procedures.

Fiona is available for complimentary consultations relating to injectables and cosmetic surgery.

Karen Trotter

Karen is a Registered Nurse who brings to Academy Day Hospital 16 years experience including plastic surgery, anaesthetics and recovery.  She has also worked in London in an Ear, Nose & Throat day surgery unit.  To further enhance her skills, Karen has a Graduate Diploma of Business, Majoring in Marketing.  At Academy, Karen's role includes pre-operative assessments, post-operative care and assisting with surgical procedures.  Concurrently, whilst working for Academy Day Hospital, Karen also lectures in Cosmetic Science, Surgical and Non-Surgical, at the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science.

Chris Brandis

Chris is an Enrolled Nurse with 26 years nursing experience including roles in operating theatres, anaesthetics and general nursing.  Chris also qualified as a Beauty Therapist ITEC Internationial.  At Academy Day Hospital Chris conducts pre and post operative assessments and assists with surgical procedures.  She is further qualified through CTEC in IV Cannulation and Immediate Life Support and is the OH&S Representative for the the day hospital.

Natalie Hawley

Natalie joined Academy Day Hospital as an Assistant Nurse.  She comes to us with 14 years experience in the Australian Defence Force including roles as a CSSD Manager and Dental Nurse.  Natalie is also an experienced Dental Practice Manager and Beauty Advisor. At Academy Day Hospital Natalie assists with pre and post operative assessments, surgical procedures and is the Infection Control Representative.

Bronwyn Cooper

Having been a Senior Medical Secretary for many years, Bronwyn joined Academy Facial Plastics 3½ years ago as part of the administration team in the role of Client Coordinator. Bronwyn enjoys the field of cosmetic medicine and feel it has been a wonderful learning experience. She finds our clients are all special and very carefully looked after.

Sonya Haskett

Sonya joined Academy Facial Plastics in late 2007 as a Client Co-ordinator.  She came to Academy Facial Plastics with 13 years of experience in the medical administration and secretarial field and has completed a BSA in Business Office Administration with the Australian Medical Association. 

Sonya enjoys her role and the team environment at Academy Facial Plastics.

Jenna Bunko

Jenna joined the Academy Facial Plastics team as a Client Co-ordinator in late 2004 with a strong interest in the cosmetic medicine industry.  She has completed the Australian Medical Association Medical Reception course, as well as a Certificate IV in Business Medical Administration.  Jenna wishes to continue to develop her knowledge in the cosmetic medical field and says she enjoys working at Academy Facial Plastics as new techniques and procedures are constantly being introduced.

Julie Amos

Julie brings to Academy 12 years medical secretarial experience.  She has a Certificate in Office Studies and has recently completed a Diploma of Beauty Therapy.  Julie's bright and vivacious personality, coupled with her professionalism and committment to customer care, make her an asset as a Client Coordinator.
